Marty Silk from Australia, Sepik- Ambunti

It was a great honor and prevelege for us to have provided this special trip for our visitor Marty Silk from Australia who came to Sepik- Ambunti to reconnect with the memories and history of his late grandfather Peter John Wright who spent his young days serving as a Patrol Officer (Kiap) in 1960s along the Upper Sepik River area.

This trip was not only special for Marty and his family but also for the locals in the Upper Sepik area to reflect and understand their native history during the colonial days.

Marty and his family have a written collection of their grandfather's diary and they will soon publish a book.
